The low-profle Klipsch KPT-418-SW high-output cinema subwoofer system uses a single 18-inch driver mountd in a bass reflex enclosure to accurately deliver the earth-shaking effects of today’s most demanding movie soundtracks.

With a depth of only 11 inches, the KPT-418 is even more compact than other cinema subwoofers, with greater output and great placement flexibility. It can be used as the main subwoofer system in a small auditorium, or as the subwoofer for surrounds in small- to medium-sized auditoriums.

Built from the inside out for performance and durability, the KPT-418 packs a lot of substance into a cinema sound system. Its true bottom-end performance along with high-power handling capability and high effciency allows audiences to hear as well as feel the impact of edge-of-your-seat entertainment.

The emergence of today’s multichannel digital surround sound formats has created a need for extended versatility in cinema surround speakers. The Klipsch KPT-8000M Cinema Surround speaker was created to meet that need with a perfect solution for smaller size cinemas where cost effectiveness is a major objective. Designed for flexible side-wall or ceiling placements, the Klipsch-exclusive Tractrix® Horn technology provides critical low-distortion clarity with high-effciency for maximum output per watt. The added ellipses or “mumps” to the horn enhance full-horn frequency coverage across its 90° x 90° wide dispersion area.

The solid, molded cabinet design provides an attractive, contemporary look that blends perfectly with today’s high-style venues with pre-drilled holes to ft industrystandard mounting brackets for fast, easy and secure installation. Mounted flush on a vertical surface (wall) produces an 8° downward fring angle while the included insert adds an additional 7° of angle for a total of 15°. Klipsch SB-6 and SB-7 mounting brackets are recommended for side-wall mounting while an approved third-party bracket can easily be utilized for ceiling mounting.

Whether used in a standard surround format, or called upon to create the jawdropping effects of today’s advanced digital surround formats, the Klipsch KPT-8000M provides the ultimate in surround sound reproduction, putting movie audiences right in the middle of the action..
